JH is quoted as being 5ft 9 on her wiki page but she always towers over the couples even when she's clearly wearing flat shoes.

Probably correct. Most people assume that blokes under 6 foot are short but the average height for a man is only 5ft9 (women 5ft3).

When I say tower,pretty much every couple who've been on, the man comes up to her shoulder and the wife up to his shoulder which would make them about 5ft and 4ft 3 respectively.
It must be a requirement to be on the show you must work in a circus

Definitely something strange going on,look out for it next time you watch an episode.I might take some screenshots next time

I would agree. I'm 5ft10 so very average. I do not tower above lots of people, even "short" people are not that much shorter than me. I've always though she would be about 6ft minimum.

When I went to gigs 30 years ago, I never had a problem seeing. I'm 5ft 10.
If I go anywhere now be where there's a crowd I can't see a thing, particularly if they're "young"
