Sky Q and BT Sport - Fresh start
Discussion
Hi all,
This has possibly been covered before but couldn't see a specific question regarding SKY Q and BT Sport integration. I am moving house and Sky Q is on the 'must have' list. (currently have BT TV/Broadband but do not wish to continue with it having persevered for 2 yrs)
The house is brand new. Currently no connections at all. So I get to choose now what I want (Sky Q). Very kindly got an exceptional deal via a member here for SKY (TV portion) so very happy with that.
Given that SKY Q is a definite am I likely to be better off adding BT Sports as an extra to SKY itself and opting sky's own fibre broadband/home hub, or maintaining a BT infinity package/hub and getting BT Sport thrown in as part of that?
Will everything run smoother if I have an all sky home solution? in terms of reliability, drop outs, customer service etc.
It seems that there is not much in it cost wise.
Finally, this is more in relation to BT Sport itself, I can get access to the BT Sport App on a 'mobile device' as part of my contract on EE (£5 only), does this 'mobile' terminology include a Macbook or is it just tablets/phones, its a little unclear on the web. This is the cheapest solution, but I imagine the worst in terms of actual viewing pleasure.
Cheers in advance,
Charlie

I have access to the BT Sport app for £5/month through a BT broadband contract. The app works on tablets and PCs, not sure if there is a device limit but I've run it on two concurrent and three different devices without problem. Via this sub I also get BT Sport non-HD via Sky Q - be aware that it only works on the main Q box, apparently it's £6/month to enable multiroom for BT.
