Apparently 're-booted' with some scouse wker fronting the show. But what the fk is the production crew participation? Clapping & whooping like a bunch of tts. Really weird. I strangely quite like John Bentley, & the blond bird has nice legs

Craig Charles is a big improvement over that bellend who used to present it. I quite like JB too. Unconvinced about the format and it'll still be a programme to whizz through on fast forward until something interesting is shown.

The Gadget Show was always a little weird, but in a good way.

The problem is tech moves so quickly now and in this internet/YouTube age the show can often be outdated unless they visit Japan/South Korean and see the future of tech. Those episode were always good to watch!

I gave up watching some time ago but did watch a little of the new show but soon turned over.


Is the last segment still taken up by announcing every prize they are giving away in a competition.

I've had no interest since Suzi left. A lot of people had high hopes for this new series looking at their Facebook page, but all left disappointed. Was gonna check it out but don't think I will now.

I always liked the guy with specs, but have fonder memories of when the show first came out and it was about previewing and reviewing gadgets, rather than what it became several years ago which was more like some kind of sports show with 'challenges' where they travel the world with a tenuous link to technology or gadgets.

I liked Jason Bradbury and I thought the chemistry between the presenting team last series worked really well. Tried watching the new format last night and thought it was awful. John Bentley was fine and his segments were as enjoyable as ever but, Craig Charles just grates on my nerves. I just can't watch him without getting annoyed.

Ended up turning it off half way through.

Jason Bradbury was great and I have no idea why he quit. He really is the mainstay I thought and was a great game player and seemed to relish the tasks.

Jon just seems totally fed up with it all. But thankfully we didn't have yet another camera review!

Ortis? No idea whatsoever why he is there. Eye Candy?

I still get a bit fed up hearing every.single.item mentioned for the prize giveaway and also got a bit fed up with everything being referred to as "tech". New app? Tech. New bike? Tech.

Yep - caught a bit of that too. The same thing happened to the first series of new Top Gear.

I think the 'crowd' consists of the 20-odd camera/sound/production people - I couldn't see any invited guests...

Saw a part of it lastnight. So Will It Blend has been around online for years, and it's 15 minutes of fame passed by a long time ago. So why are they doing it all again on this? The set looked like an abandoned tool shed, Craig Charles is really having to filter himself to keep it pre 9pm. I'll carry on watching online stuff and BBC Click for my techy TV thanks.

WTF has happened to this show? IT is like they have been given a shot of adolescence, more whooping and whailing than a Jerry Springer show, utterly forced/fake feel of comradery. People complain that the Top Gear crew don't feel natural, compared to this new format Gadget Show the TG crew appear like they have spent their lives together.

The way Otis just raised his shirt after some ste football club won a match, the blender etc. This is the death nail of tech shows.

WTF. I like Craig Charles, but he just doesn’t fit in or gel with the team. Very forced.
What happened to Jason, he was brilliant. As mad as a box of frogs, but had genuine enthusiasm.
Won’t be wateching again.

I like Craig Charles, but I'm biased because I'm a Red Dwarf fan. He's OK.

Jon is awesome and it's not hard to imagine that that is his actual character 24/7. He sends himself up with it as well.

Seems like they're going for Craig as the 'bemused grandad' aimlessly prodding at the new fangled gadget, Jon as the Geek and the other two for some sort of balance. Otis as the enthusiastic kid.

Got to say I do like the games reviewer...

Don't really know why they turn everything into a contest - having said that the tea infuser things were good. There might be two items per show I want to watch.

The car simulator with...Lewis Hamilton's brother was a fking low-point though. Lewis Hamilton's fking brother. Jesus.

That's why I only watch it off the planner so I can zap through 20 mins+ of total st for the bits I want.
