I must admit that was my first thought too when I saw that.

Some blind people can see, and even those who can't can still look at things.

A blind person can't see surely. Partially sighted yes, but blind is blind i would think.

Nope. If you are lacking sufficient vision or hearing to meet the criteria, you are classed as blind or deaf. My wife is classed as deaf, has no hearing in 1 ear and 20% in the other. Partially deaf would have better hearing than that.

Also, legally, a sexless marriage means intercourse less that 10 times a year. (don't ask me how I know that hehe)

If they are going to 'play' on the blind girl sympathy angle you think they would make the best of it.

I use to know a guy who went blind in his late teens, battery acid accident. He never looked at things, just had his head up Stevie Wonder style, always moving it to get a better bearing on things around him.

He reckons he could get a good 3D impression of where things and people were in a room and how far away, by the way their position moved relative to him as he moved his head. He reckons the ears work like your eyes do, they have a 'sweet spot' where you focus, and everything else is peripheral, so just like you look around you to see a room, your ears work exactly the same way. Fascinating actually.

But he never used Dove...

I speed-watched the video, thinking 'so when is the blind girl going to appear?' And then I went back and realised...... bloody hell, all becomes clear now.

She has beautiful eyes as well. I somehow doubt I could ever have such a positive outlook on life if it were me in her position. frown
