"Save Me" started tonight on Sky Atlantic, all episodes are also available to watch immediately if you like a binge.

Lennie James, Suranne Jones and heaps of "what do I know them from" people in a missing child police drama kind of thing.

Sky said:
On a tireless quest to find his missing daughter Jody, Nelly will go to any length to uncover the truth and he’ll discover more about himself and those around him than he could have ever imagined.

I've just watched the first two episodes and found it enjoyable, you can tell it's by the same people as Line if Duty.

Just wondering if anyone else is watching.

Bloody automatic spelling phone nonsense! It tried to change it to Kenny, I thought I'd fixed it, clearly not smile

Edit incoming!

Watched the first 3, its very line of duty but without as much excitement so far.

You just know that huge twists are coming - my money is on BJ (the person, not the activity)

Watched the first 2 last night.

Lenny James wrote it and he’s doing a great job as nelly.

The new husband is definitely dodgy, as is his son. Don’t think they had anything to do with it though.

The nonce is looking a bit worried.

Binge watched it and finished last night.
Excellent TV. Lenny James was superb, and was his ex.

I need an episode 7.

I loved all the weird background characters on the estate as much as the actual story line stuff smile

Watched it over two nights and thought it very good. I also loved all the background characters - my favourites were probably the guys trying to load the sofa in the underground carpark although the kid in the inflatable boat was a close second.

Can we talk about the ending?

Any one else feel a little hard done by? So many threads left untied! Season 2 has to be on the cards.

Absolutely, even just one more episode might have been enough to sort out 50% of the stuff happening but it just felt like "oh well, let's just go back to normal again and move on" at the end.

I loved it - as per the OP, as much as for all the weird stuff going on in the background as much as anything else.

Love Suranne Jones in anything anyway.

Looks like it was penned with a second series in mind...

Lennie James has already said his intention was for it to be a 'returning series' when he was asked to do the first one.

Possibly one of the darkest and bleakest dramas I've seen on TV.

Impressed by Lennie's story telling and his performance as Nelly.

Stephen Graham does a great job with a difficult character to play.

Wasn't sure about Alex Arnold until he turned into the ice cold "I ain't telling you nuffink" character.

The schemie extras doing their thing in the foregorund and background add extra layers to the scenes.

Looking forward to what is done for a second series. Hopefully it is something that is tied up in a short, sharp two series run.

I actually enjoyed the little special 'making of' show which was about 8 minutes long but explained a lot in that short time.
