Watched it twice already.
'So rocks are more jaggedy'...

Her gormless nature is a joy to watch.

Some of the punch lines you can see them coming a mile off but somehow that just makes them more funny.

Yup its predictable and as it's as old as Ali-G, but she does it v well. You can still hear Charlie Brooker coming through too.

I'm with you. From the name onwards, I just can't watch her.

Like stpeas. I tolerated her on Bookers Wipe. As above, the "odd interviewer getting reactions" thing is hardly new.

Couldn't bear a complete show of her character! laugh

Watching for the first time. "How would you rate Brunel? Would you rate him above, say, Nick Knowles?"

Haven't stopped laughing yet. However, I do understand it wouldn't be everyone's tasse de the.

"book full of words it's almost impossible to care about" rofl

And I thought Mark Lawson did very well not to crack up.

It is very good I think. I would love to believe the interviews are totally genuine too, however...!

More worringly there is something about her that I find rather stimulating too!

There is something about "faux stupidity" that I can't warm to.

Watched episode 1 last night on iPlayer - brilliant, I'm not typically interested in history but I'll certainly be watching the series, she hasn't changed since Brooker's Weekly Wipes.

I find her cringeworthy.

I didn't mind her in small doses in Charlie Brooker's programme - but not a whole show of her own.

I did see an interview with Diane Morgan and she said that some of the interviews take 2 hours, the interviewees being lulled into a false sense of security. But some of the experts have appeared in more than one Cunk series/epidsode so presumably they are capable of playing along.

If you are enjoying 'Cunk on Britain', dig out 'Cunk on Shakespeare' on YouTube, it's very finely crafted. If you're not enjoying it, go and be miserable elsewhere!
