Watched the 1 st couple of episodes. Its good, got me a hooked. Wished i had banked a couple of episodes as I'll want to binge watch it - hate this wait till next week to find out.
Very similar to the Jack Ryan series that was on Prime.
It's a bit predictable in places and they seem to be spelling things out as of the audience is stupid- oh they are supposed to be I the fur escape and the glass is really thick and bullet proof, that might come in handy, like oh now.
I assume the lead guy got the gig because of who is dad is, cause he can't act.

Not sure if there will be a second series

- ***SPOILER ALERT*******
They seemed to set things up at the end of the last ep for series 2 but a lot of these sorts of programmes really only have one solid storyline in them. Its when the TV execs look at the viewing figures and revenues and say to the writers "another series please" when things start to dip.
Had completely forgotten about this with the first season having aired almost two years ago but loved season 1 and it is back tomorrow evening for season 2 on RTE Two
EDIT: Just to add for those that missed season 1 - it is currently airing on Sky One

Is this anything like Condorman?....
No, it is an action/drama/thrillerhttps://www.imdb.com/title/tt6510950/
Based on the novel "Six Days of the Condor" by James Grady and screenplay "Three Days of the Condor" by Lorenzo Semple Jr. and David Rayfiel, CONDOR follows CIA analyst Joe Turner who stumbles onto a plan that threatens the lives of millions. Joe has always been conflicted about his work for the CIA. But when something he's discovered gets his entire office killed, leaving Joe as the only survivor and forcing him to go on the run, the theoretical reservations he's harbored turn into all-too-real moral dilemmas. Under pressure, Joe will be forced to redefine who he is and what he's capable of in order to discover the truth and to stop a plot that threatens the lives of millions.

We started season 2 and whilst watching the catch-up clips and episode 1 as it progressed we both realised how much we'd forgotten from season 1. I mean totally forgotten -- characters, plot points, story arcs. It was later I realised it had been 2 years since we'd watched season 1, which made me feel a bit better and less worried we were losing our minds...
