Yes, the wife and I are big fans of this show.

Can't believe we are so far behind the US schedules for this again, but we are pretty much only a week behind them with Chicago Med (on Universal) - the crossover episode they had a couple of weeks ago gives a big spoiler to what happens in Chicago Fire. When we were in Chicago in April last year, we watched an episode that we didn't see on UK screens until November! (we wanted to go to the film set but it was a few miles outside the town towards the "rough" end of the city...)

Sadly no filming when I was out there last November, did make a trip to the Firehouse though.

Oh cool.

My brother in law lives in Chicago so I expect we'll be going back to visit them at some point, will have to make the trip next time then, is it not as rough as was made out? (Also need to see: Home Alone house, Home Alone 2 Toy Store)

The fire station is very close (like half a mile) from the police station location they use for Chicago PD. It was also used for Hill Street Blues.

I'm a big fan of Chicago Fire and Chicago PD. I rate both very highly and for me, PD is the best drama ever to come from the US.

Early in series 7 of Fire, series 6 of PD, and series 4 of Med, there's a double crossover to watch out for and can be a bit confusing if you don't know it's coming. In each case, it is episode 2. In order it would be Fire, Med then PD.

Really enjoy the Dick Wolf Chicago dramas , probably the only tv aside from sport and news that I watch . Typically on the double headers the networks got them in the wrong order, but was still good viewing .The Hank Voight character in PD is superb .

We didn't catch Chicago PD in time but I have the first 4 season on DVD to start watching at some point, shown on Channel 5 if I am correct? Whereas Fire we watched the first 4 seasons when they put it all on Sky catch up a couple of years ago

Chicago PD is on 5USA but the first series was repeated on Channel 5, Not sure about Chicago Fire in the UK although I've watched all episodes of both Fire and PD. It doesn't help UK viewers with the crossover episodes being on different channels or not even shown at all (Med?).

Chicago Med is on Universal Channel and is pretty much up to date with the US, maybe a week behind? Sunday nights at 9pm - Sky 113

They’ve had at least one triple header with Chicago Fire, PD and Law & Order Special Victims Unit in New York too. That was tricky to catch all three.

I've only watched the crossover episodes of Chicago Med when linked to PD and Fire. For whatever reason, I haven't got into it as much as PD and Fire.

Chicago Justice was another but unfortunately ended after one series.

Found this a couple of weeks ago on Netflix. Currently on season 2 episode 13, but Netflix only has four seasons..
Really enjoying the stories and the characters.

I really think the Chicago weather adds something. It is unlike a lot of American series and films where it is always hot/sunny and everyone is in short sleeves and convertables. Here they wear a fleese, padded jackets, beenies, big coats etc you can see their breath its so cold and its sometimes snowing.

I've watched every episode up to now. Looking forward to the new season, but not looking forward to the largest star leaving.

I absolutely love the Chicago Fire series, PD is also very good and Med is decent enough. I normally catch up and watch Med first while cooking dinner, and then watch PD/Fire whilst eating and then having a beer.

I know Miranda/Stella has been absent for most of the recent series but it doesn't seem like they're leaving fully. In all honesty, the past few series' have been mainly focused around that character, so it's refreshing to see other characters given the spotlight and putting the brakes on the "too woke" label the show was getting before covid.

Wife and I are working our way through CF on Netflix but they only have the first four series. Big big fans of the show.

Any ideas where I can watch series 5-10?

Bit of CF trivia.
Firehouse 51 is specially chosen as a nod to "Squad 51" from the 1970's TV Show "Emergency"

What I am finding is when something happens in an episode but does not get resolved. Next episode everything is fine and it is not spoken about again. In one episode an apartment gets burgled, it was not resolved but next episode the apartment is fine and never mentioned again.
