Designated Survivor
just seen an advert for this when watching Columbo
utterly silly premise, looks hokey, and it had Kiefer Sutherland...but it has me intrigued.
The US government gets destroyed and the secretary for housing is the only one left. Like in BSG when the government goes and the minister for education is left.

I'm a few episodes into S1 and I like it. I don't understand how many of you complain about it being unrealistic/unbelievable. It's a fictional drama! Did you enjoy terminator, Rambo, Aliens, virtually any horror or sci-fi film etc and find them believable?!
Give it time.Agree, enjoyed it when 'the President and his struggles' was the main story.
S2 is basically 'a crisis per episode which ends in tea and medals, with a background thread of the long term story about catching the baddies'.
eg stopped being a series, became episodes with tenuous links to a theme from the series.
