Had a quick look and couldn’t see another thread running on this...

It’s a pretty dark comedy drama about a woman’s release from prison after an 18 year sentence for a murder she committed as a teenager. It’s very well written and acted and also pretty intriguing. Being shown Monday evenings at 10:30 on BBC1 but the whole series is available to watch on iPlayer.

The Guardian described it as the perfect antidote to those missing Fleabag and I can certainly see the similarities. Well worth a watch.

I really enjoyed it. Binge watched on iPlayer as it was quite addictive. Dark and subtle humour but laugh out loud in parts.

I like things a bit quirky and am a big Fleabag fan. It has a similar visual look using same sort of lenses for a more cinematic feel and made by the same production company.

I watched it because Daisy Haggard is in it.

Enjoyed it, good plot, I loved the first episode when you knew she'd been inside but not what for. Some great characters in it too and an unexpected twist.

More drama than comedy though - This is on the dark side of the moon dark.

Fleabag was more overtly funny. I don't recall actually laughing at all in this.

Never heard of this before, but somebody on the Toast thread mentioned it, so thanks. thumbup

Just started watching it, and three episodes in. Dark with some good bits of humour. Keeping with it. smile

I didn't really enjoy the second series but the first was great.

I'm half way through the second series. A mate put me on to it because of the locations (South Kent coast).

I'm enjoying it but suggest that people don't go to it if they are looking for laughs. I like the fact that each character is complex and you might not end up liking or disliking the ones you thought you would. Who I will like at the end is anyone's guess.
