Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill will all be back for this one.

they were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should

The second one was rubbish. I’m not holding much hope for this one.

Let me guess?
God creates man.
Man creates dinosaur.
Dinosaurs eat man.
Women inherits the earth?

The 2nd one was awful.

I hope they pull it back round with this one as the 1st one had all the right ingredients.

All of those actors haven’t really made any decent films in a while, it’s not just the money, it’s the attention !

Battle at Big Rock. A short set a year after the end of Jurassic World 2, setting up 3 as the dinosaurs being out where the people are. https://youtu.be/C7kbVvpOGdQ

Yeah, saw that.

Without getting diverted to the youtube thread, look up "how it should have ended" (HISHE) on youtube. Part from Jurassic park as well, quite a few others in there. Picks apart the plot holes but what the heck, Dinos eating people, great stuff.

The original book was far better than the original movie - although I enjoyed both.

The essential plot of Crichton's novel is that humans sometimes lose control of the technology they create. It's a theme he explored in "Westworld" as well - and is essentially the theme of Prometheus and Frankenstein - so an old story.

You've clearly not watched the high heels edition then.

Possibly something to that, Jeff was in a couple of MCU films and he seems to just like doing small stuff as he's busy being Jeff Goldblum. He plays the piano semi-regularly in a bar that a friend of mine frequents.
Laura Dern has been smashing it in Big Little Lies, although after a quick look I see that she was in that stty Star wars film. She probably does need a win.

They do move in thirds. (Well, twice now. biggrin)

Cautiously optimistic with this one.

Remember Laura Dern was in JP3, brief scene on the phone talking to Sam Neill.

I fear their appearances might be brief, although Chris Pratt has been very enthusiastic about them so maybe they will have bigger roles.

I struggled to like the books, the premise I liked but his style not so.

Liked Eaters of the Dead though, bit of an odd one. Liked the film of that as well.
