I can't think of a more crap Xmas TV lineup - to top it all, Mrs Brown's New Year 'special'. Does anybody actually watch this total utter pile of st????

Yes it’s been poor. Apparently 4.9million folks watched Mrs Brown on Christmas Day - and no, I don’t get it either.

Funny, I watched "Mary Poppins" on Christmas Day.

Christmas TV as a "thing" belongs to a different era which is now long in the past - an era of only three or four channels. That is long gone. I did not watch any specific broadcast Christmas TV at all.

The only Christmas TV themed stuff I watched was a set of old US TV specials from the 1960s on You Tube - which for me was pure nostalgia (Bing Crosby, Dean Martin and Andy Williams).
