This was a prime example of how HA operates.......slowly

There was a serious accident on the M1 and it happened in that piece of road between off and on slips at a junction

Emergency services in attendance and all under control

Meanwhile the traffic has stacked up to 2j unctions down and estimated at 20k vehicles!!

Police advise that due to possible Fatak M1 closed for at least three hours

After one hour of HA looking at the screens the light bulb comes on and they realise that they could get the M1 moving, albeit slowly, by routing traffic off and back on.aro. und the accident In fact the Lass in charge said it was the'best place to have an accident.

But seriously One Hour to get this going????

I would have thought 10 mins max to implement that. Thre moment i saw it i said to Mrs Fox that as the slip was not in the zone they should be going off and on around the situation

Or is it just me?

Since when has the BBC been Channel 5 ?....because that is where I watched this.....confusedsilly

Found it interesting anyway.

The moronic Latvians out of petrol ,leave car sticking out into lane 1 when it looked like he could have pulled into the grassy area

and 2 women asleep in the back ,in a live lane ,handbrake not engaged......rolleyes
