How did Hugh Laurie get roped in to doing this dross?

Hard to believe someone involved with such brilliant series as House let himself get involved with something so awful?

And Zach Woods was brilliant in Silicon Valley and is completely wasted in this series too.

Such a wasted opportunity.

He has worked with Armando Iannucci a fair bit in the past. Must have more money than he can spend, so presumably must be a fan.

Have you seen thick of it and veep? Kind of makes more sense if you have seen those shows. (hugh L was in Veep I think?)

3 episodes in and it’s getting better, quite enjoying the dark humour TBH.

I’ve just watched the 3rd episode and thought how lighthearted and clever it is in a simple yet fun way. I think it’s going to be something rather good....

Might watch episode 3 then and see how it goes.

Thought the first two were fairly dire. None of the characters are convincing or likable and the humour is few and far between and basic when it happens.

Much better recent sit coms about.

Just got caught up-to-date with this. Enjoying it so far.

It looks like all the Earth-based scenes were shot at McLaren Technology Centre.

It's starting to stack, so I watched the first ep....wow
bad.

I'd really like to delete, but the thought that it improves in e3 keeps a thread of hope alive, but it'll have to improve a fktonne.

I love Veep and the rest of those shows

A slow burn on this one. I nearly gave up after the episode. Quite enjoying it now.

Is this an example of hollywood throwing money at anything and everything. Ianonne just cobbles together something over breakfast.
Only seen a couple of them. Was hoping it will get to be chaos and cannibalism by the end as thats the only thing that
would mark it out as not the usual comedy show.

It'll be like drowning but with dirt in your mouth and a tractor on your chest.
