Seems enjoyable enough at the moment, much better than the BBC dirge. wink

Enjoying this, especially after the letdown of the BBC version.

A nice little surprise this, don't pay attention to the IMDB score. They used their budget well too.

It’s on Fox, as per the thread title.

I watched the first one last night and didn't really feel the need to watch the second. I'll probably stick with it but I'm not getting the menace that Jeff Wayne's album brings or the creepy (but camp) 50's movie.

Fox now owned by Disney? Not sure how they were split up.

Fox has been a channel on satellite Tv for as long as I can remember. I think it was called FX before but it’s been Fox for at least a decade.

Saw the first one and thought it was pretty good, will try the second one this weekend to see if it continues to keep our interest

Totally agree. Not outstanding but very watchable

Same.

The BBC version was dire, which led me to reading the book which Ive just finished. Looking forward to seeing what the new version does with it.

I like the fact that it's set bang up to date, it will be interesting to see how modern technology fares against the aliens.

I watched the first two this evening and enjoyed them. Looking forward to seeing where they take it.

It’s nice to see something like this not set in the US. Makes it more realistic when they are trudging round London.

Just watched both episodes. Excellent!

So much better than the BBC effort.
