How much new stuff is there before we run out?

Given that CV means no more stuff is being made, how much is already in the can?
it's not something that keeps me awake at night, I give not a tinker's cuss that Olivia Colman, Sue f***ing Perkins and Martin Clunes might not be earning vast
sums of moolah and will be sitting at home scratching themselves and eating WAY
too many kit-kats like the rest of us.

I'm doing my best to buy up the remaining world stock of plastic aeroplane kits. My aim is to be the Nelson Bunker-Hunt of the kit world.
Break out and make HMS Victory Eric, it will keep you busy for a year!As for TV, as there's already wall-to-wall Salvage Hunters and Wheeler Dealers, I guess they can keep on showing them out until the VHS tape wears out.

Conversely, I am making my 1:72 Mosquito build last as long as possible, some days I just look at it, make some machine gun noises, and put it back. It has taken me two weeks to do the tail wheel. Not that you would be able to tell.In terms of movies, loads of films are ready to go and being pushed back to late 2020 or 2021 (the release schedule for 2021 is insane) so it's not going to be particuarly noticeable as we're in a period where stuff isn't being released, so it kinda cancels itself out.
The issue more so maybe the state of actual cinemas after this is over, and finance for new movies.

I've noticed a few "new releases" that were clearly for the March/April period ending up on Rakuten TV recently with a price to watch of 15£ or so. We watched a couple over the weekend .. Don't mind trying to support the industry (just wish they had been better movies!!!)
Generally the stuff that is going to make a few quid regardless (James Bond, Quiet Place, Black Widow etc) is being pushed back, the average/crap stuff will be dumped on services as high price rentals to cut their losses. There were also a few 'inbetween' films such as The Hunt and Onward which came out just as cinemas started closing, so they nearly all went to online rental.I was kinda hoping a big release would go down the £15 rental route as a test case for how that would pan out, but most studios appear to be banking on things getting back to normal by September. Disney have gone with July for Mulan, that seems ballsy.

It would be good if a few did test case it, at 15 or 20 quid for a good new movie, I'd pay that happily (and eat my own popcorn)
Yeah films that were already released / had their cinema run cut short have been 'dumped' onto the rental market early to cash-in on an captive audience of locked down bored people. You won't be able to see any quality new films until Autumn now.
TV wise... if you like US Dramas then there are a few big things like 'The Plot Against America' that's been released in the US but not the UK yet.
'Billions' that was supposed to air in May is still meant to be going ahead, you'd think if it was all finished and ready to go they might bring it forward to cash in on larger locked down audiences, maybe it's still in editing and may be delayed.
Based on the first Socially Distance HIGNFY I think we can look forward to a lot of pretty poor, awkward TV programmes in the short-term.
They should be filming for Top Gear Autumn series by now too...

I couldn't remember what it was we watched ... it was "Bloodshot" and "The Hunt" ... To be fair they were ok ...

As soon as it goes for a mass digital release, it gets released on the 'illegal' streaming sites and in HD Format. It would be good if a few did test case it, at 15 or 20 quid for a good new movie, I'd pay that happily (and eat my own popcorn)
Normally there is a delay between it being released at the cinema ( = cam quality on the illegal sites) to it being HD quality.
But i do agree, would be nice if they tried it
