What the fk!! they have edited out every cool line, "oh no you did not shoot that green st at me" being the prime example but loads of the great lines are cut from the tv version now. It really grinds my gears.

I missed it, I would have watched it if id seen it, but I did watch part of the rerun of the original Gavin and Stacey. Me and my Wife really enjoyed it the first time round so it was a bit of feel good tv, but like you I was getting annoyed at the obvious Pc ommisions. The bit where Smithy said to Gavin "You got any johnies? Im not going im there bareback" was missing. They also cut it out really badly. Almost like it had been done by physically cutting and splicing the full it was that abrubt. Im sure they cant be doing it because they're short of airtime. Just let the damn things play as they were intended! Grrr

I've been watching "Two and a half men" on ITV2 recently, as there's little else on 8pm-9pm, and there's a lot of that going on, and it's not as if the bits they leave in are entirely squeaky-clean. I'm sort-of interested in what they've cut, but not enough to go searching, or even remember a cut bit.

Not a new thing.

Films have been cleaned up and shortened for TV since films started being shown on TV.

Two and a half men gets hit hard with censoring. Annoyingly, as you say, it's a fairly risque show anyway so they cut out one thing and leave in something else.

Don't watch it often but even The Big Bang Theory isn't safe.
