Are YouTube in trouble
Discussion
With Joe Rogan going to Spotify and David Dobrik making silly numbers on Tik Tok will similar podcast / vlogging type Ytubers move platforms.
I know Instagram has found its place and isn't replacing YouTube nor is Facebook but will these two platforms come in with a slightly different offering and skim off some of the stars on YouTube.

No. Youtube is always mired in controversy or naysayers around their algorithm or the way they treat some content creators, but it is literally too big to fail being part of google.
ETA the same discussion can be had around twich; it poached a bunch of big names from the gaming section of youtube (although many still stream to both platforms) but now the same thing is happening with Mixer trying to poach people from Twitch. It just goes around and around.

Youtube has too large a reach for 99% of content producers to diverge onto other platforms, the main rival a few years back was Vimeo but afaik there's never been any other serious contender.
I think the issue lots of them have is that the price per view has been going steadily down over the past few years so instead they need to rely on paid promotions or alternate revenue streams such as Patreon or Onlyfans.
