New sci-fi due out in September created and produced by Ridley Scott.

Raised by Wolves centres around two androids, Father and Mother, tasked with raising human children on a mysterious new planet. As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences the androids learn that controlling the beliefs of humans is a treacherous and difficult task

Will be streamed on HBO MAX, no idea if that is a UK channel or if that means it will be available elsewhere in UK but the trailer looks amazing, can't wait for this.

Sky have a deal with hbo so they have first refusal on buying their shows. That’s my basic understanding of it.

No idea how long it takes for sky to decide, but it’s normally broadcast not too long after America. If it’s really popular or something sky is pushing its broadcast at the same time so often 1 or 2am our time.

If Sky do buy this and think it will be a big show it'll probably go on Sky Atlantic, so Virgin customers (like me) will dip out.

This resonates well with me as I was raised by bears from an early age, I'll be sure to look into this one.

Release date is 3rd September so if comment a couple above is correct will possibly be available on Sky Atlantic 4th September, or within a of couple of days.
Looks like this will be the case as the other thread I started today (Lovecraft Country) was on HBO Max last night and Starts on Sky Atlantic tonight

Just watched the first three episodes. Have been very excited for this and it was just as good as I had hoped. Can not wait for more.
Has it's haters as is usual with this kind of thing but generally getting positive reviews.
Expected to be on Sky Atlantic and Now TV very soon but no solid info available yet.

Amazing show.

Soundtrack, character arc, the warmth and terror also.

I don't want to spoil it for anyone here. But Mother is legit terrifying if you piss her off.

Love the name given to her alter ego also. So fitting.

Raised by Wolves : A large family is raised by an unconventional single mother on a council estate in Wolverhampton, England.
sounds an unlikely ridley scott effort to me.

Have caught up and watched all 3 of the episodes so far. Quite enjoying it thus far. Amanda Collins is absolutely fantastic in the role of Mother/Lamia. Deserves recognition for her role, going by her performances thus far.
Travis Fimmel is going to have trouble moving away from the role of Ragnar in Vikings, isn't he? Even though it's a role he's not played in a number of years. There's been a number of times now where mannerisms and expressions have echoed those he used in the role of Ragnar.
Other than that the casting and performances have been very strong so far. Hopefully it maintains this standard over the coming episodes.
