When my wife was at work on a Sunday morning in August this year to see TENET, it was great.

I really like going to the cinema. Not happy to see them close, but so little to watch this year that appealed to me.

2 years? It looks and sounds better at home, without having to mingle with the great unwashed.

2014. Watched The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly at Picture House cinema in Exeter.

Prior to that was Senna whenever that came out.

I haven't seen the value in going in years.

I used to go a couple of times a month. I last went about a month ago to watch the Bill and Ted film.

No more trips for the foreseeable future....

My wife and I enjoy going to Home arts cinema in Manchester when we occasionally can.

We went to see (I tried to sleep) Frozen 2 (aaaagghh) as a family at a multiplex last year on a wet day when on holiday...

Unfortunately standards of behaviour seem to have reached such a low that it's no longer enjoyable frown

I've taken the kids a couple of times in the last few years, because you have to experience the big screen as a kid. And I went with a friend to watch Ford vs. Ferrari.

I never enjoy it. People everywhere. Strangers sitting right next to me. Talking in front of me. Crunching behind me. No legroom, uncomfortable seats, overpriced tickets, insanely priced snacks, sticky floors....

I would rather sit on my own sofa, eating my own snacks, with my own big TV and speakers, and watch 5 or 10 rental movies instead.

Avatar, over 10 years ago. I have never been a fan because it is the most antisocial social thing you can do. “Hey friends. Let’s go out but sit in a dark room and not talk to each other.” Added to that is the other people who decide to socialize in said dark room ruining the experience for everyone else.

I did take my daughter to a party at a cinema where the kids parent had rented the entire (small) place. That did seem more reasonable but my daughter was scared of the film so we went to Dunkin’ Donuts while the film played.

I do enjoy a good film though so have a projector set up in my basement. Before COVID, we would have all the kids friends over and they can watch what they want, how they want.

I think you need to try a different cinema though you’ve probably left it too late.

When i was about 15 (im now 30).

No idea what it was, I've just never felt the urge to go to the cinema to watch a film.

Apart from anything else I'm very tall.

Last year & Ford vs. Ferrari - Everyman Cinema here in Chelmsford. Got a free promotionl Old Fashioned delivered to our seats before the film started.

If the cinema's still there in the future I want to see Top Gun II and maybe the new Bond film... restrictions notwithstanding.

Last year when I went to see The Joker.

This will be the first year that I have never stepped foot in a Cinema. Obviously due to Covid, but also because the two films that I wanted to see have been pushed back until next year.

Christmas last year to see Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker.

Had tickets for Bond in late March, but obviously that didn’t happen.

I like the cinema. It’s expensive and the experience at home is now better than ever, but it’s still good.
