Any way to watch 'Billions' without Sky?
Discussion
Hi all,
Is there any where I can watch the 5th (2020) season on Billions?
I cancelled Sky back in early 2019 and Billions was pretty much the only thing I watched on Sky! But I wasn't going to pay £300 a year just to watch Billions.
I've had a look on Netflix and Prime TV and can't see the 5th season available.
(Just to clarify, I'm wanting to pay to watch it, not looking for a dodgy link to some illegal streaming site)
Thanks!

It's not on Sky Atlantic yet - I'd expect it appear on NOW TV 21 October as that's when S5E1 starts on Sky.

Thanks for that.I just read something about Covid delaying filming for a few months, so maybe that's the issue.
Maybe Sky know they've resumed filming and they'll be able to complete the series as normal, but if they have, they've not announced it.
I've seen Ep1-7, it's probably fair to say it's past it's best, and there are elements of 'Sit-com' about it, now, but it's still fun to watch.
There was a rumour it was going to be cancelled before they even finished series 5, but it's been renewed for series 6

I would just skip season 5 and pretend it doesnt exist. The once great show is dead.
Well, that is certainly a less than stellar review!Shame, because seasons 1-4 were brilliant.
Series 5 is okay.
The 3-way battle between Taylor, Chuck and Axe settles down to an uneasy simmer, but Axe finds a new nemesis, in fact they all do to varying degrees, and they all criss cross, lots of 'My enemy's enemy is my friend' type stuff. Allegiances shift, many knives are thrust into many backs etc.
There's a decent amount of character progression.
Axe goes full-Dick for most of it (so far) he was always ruthless in business, but a decent guy in normal life, less so now.
Chuck, who was verging on the cocky last series, losing most of his swagger again quite quickly, taking it from all sides.
Wendy goes full bitter b
h, blames him and confirms his parental guilt when he hasn't really done anything wrong, uses his family against him generally make's his life hell by using every trick in her psychologist book which I'm sure will resonate with a decent amount of PH'ers. She does something similar to Axe actually, she knows what's she's doing, but either doesn't care or uses denial to tell herself she doesn't.
There's some comedic moments, more than you'd have seen in earlier series, but I guess they've always been there.

There are ways you can obviously do it away from paying or subscribing to anything, but none that can be revealed on a site like this for obvious reasons.
Thanks for the offer, but I stopped bothering with stuff like that 10+ years ago. Most of the time, trying to watch illegal streams is a waste of time, a hassle, is rubbish quality, or doesn't work properly. These days I prefer everything to work properly and be easy, and I'm happy to pay for that!

I'm the same, got fed up with the dodgy sites and I quite happily pay legitimately in the knowledge that it will work flawlessly. These days I prefer everything to work properly and be easy, and I'm happy to pay for that!
I just checked on Apple TV and series 5 is not available yet. There are some series that I'm waiting on that appears to be delayed, despite already airing on Sky. I would suspect if you sit tight, it will eventually appear on Amazon Prime.
