Anyone know where I can find information regarding home video release dates for films (including VHS releases)?. I've searched on the BBFC site but for some reason when you type in a particular film all that comes up is a specific release date. I remember the last time I searched on there (about a year ago) it gave you dates of each home video release date right back to the first release. There's a drop down option for Ratings Info, Cinema, Home entertainment, Trailers and Industry details, but nothing happens when you click on them.

I'm trying to find out when a particular film was first released on home video.

Looking at it,the bbfc site isn’t an accurate guage of whether a film was released at all,let alone if and when it was released on video.
I’ve put in a few titles that I know have been released on vhs ans subsequently dvd - some aren’t listed at all and some have these initial releases missing.
Post the title up here, someone may have a copy and may be able to direct you further.

I know they're not accurate, but the last time I checked the site a few months back and entered in a particular title there was several results of previous releases. For example, Jurassic Park the search brought up a home video release (VHS in this case) of Sept 1994, which I think was about right for that particular home video release (retail release not the rental release as I think the rental release was abit earlier, like many home video releases back then the rental copy was released earlier than the retail copy). I remember Jurassic Park taking absolutely ages to be released on UK home video, like more than a year later since its theatrical release. When I checked the site last night nothing came up regarding any home video release dates just the title (bar the most recent release), rating description and the poster of the film.
