I can't be the only one can? There are quite a few films that I have some or most of, but not all of it. For example right now Black Knight, a film I must have seen the middle bits a dozen times, the ending once. And now, now I am watching the start for the first time......

So what about you? Are there films you've seen bits of (usually ones repeated monthly on TV.....) but not the whole thing?!?!

Having young kids, at the time, I’ve seen the start of Friozen literally dozens of times.
I’ve never seen all of it because I’ve fallen asleep ever single time.
Bliss!

For the sake of your sanity, just let it go.

I’ve seen the first 15 mins of the live action version of beauty and the beast at least half a dozen times. Not sure what it is but I always fall asleep.

Independence Day & Stargate.

Both on the same flight to the USA when they had recently come out.

Both just hollywood story by the tick boxes, so irritating, I abandoned them both about half way through and have never gone back to re-visit.

The Sixth Sense, didn't grab me at all.

Creepy man following an even creepier boy around, what's all that about ?

For me, I know a film is good if I’m still awake at the end.

I don’t think I’ve ever watched Inception from start to finish though and I do like it, perhaps it’s all the talk of dreams and sleeping that makes me drop off.

Until last night I would have said Lawrence of Arabia but I caught the very beginning of it for the first time and stuck it out for nearly 4hrs. Wouldn’t do that again tho.

Fight Club. I must’ve started it a dozen times, no idea what happens.

Quite a few I can remember for now;

E.T
Gone with the Wind
Lawrence of Arabia
Dr Zhivago
Star Wars, any or all, not sure which ones I've only part seen.
The Matrix
Mamma Mia
Batman, again, any or all... is there more than one?
Slept through quite a portion of The Lord of the Rings in the cinema.

Tried watching both a couple of times, but gave up.

Fight Club for me. I found it an awful watch so never managed more than 45 minutes. I know about the twist but still can't manage to sit through it.

Lord of the Rings. If I'm ever in need of sleep, 10 minutes is all I need.

Unforgiven (The slashed up prostitute / cowboys / Clint Eastwood jobbie). Seen parts of it multiple times but never as a whole. Possibly an hour maximum.
