With all that is going on across the pond ,it appears that since C4 has been streaming this ,the series is high on watch list.
I have been binge watching ,I know it is fiction ,but .......

I'm a HUGE West Wing fan. For years I've been watching pretty much one episode a day and then going back to the start again after Jed Barlet says "Tomorrow" at the end of the last episode.

It's certainly the best TV series I have ever seen.

The opening to 17 People is sublime, the Two Cathedrals episode is just magnificent, and Hartsfield's Landing where Sam plays chess against the President is unmissable.

Everyone should watch The West Wing once in their life, I'm on at least my 12th run through.

I've been trying to watch everything that Aaron Sorkin has done.

I particularly enjoyed Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.

There was a series set in an equivalent to ESPN in the 80s or early 90s too. That was pretty good.

Ah someone else who watched Studio 60!

It seems to have dropped off the radar of shows ppl watched. I always liked it.

I have also always been a great West Wing fan ever since its debut on Channel Four many a long year ago. Question - much of the cast reassembled and made a new, one-off episode a couple of months ago. I think in the US it was shown on HBO. Does anyone know how to watch it in the UK?

Doesn't seem to be any word of official UK availability. Can use a VPN to watch it on US HBO Max. Can also be acquired by other means on the internet. The episode they used was Hartsfield Landing.

Trailer for those who haven't seen it: https://youtu.be/ulodrbRxDhA

The Newsroom was another good Sorkin series:

You mean "A.West.Wing.Special.to.Benefit.When.We.All.Vote"? Legally, no. But the torrent is downloadable. Seemed a bit odd at first (live performance in an empty theatre) but well worth watching.

Excellent series. I watched a whole bunch of it last year.

It's not always the most subtle with its message but the cast is excellent.

I also enjoyed this when it was first on and ended up getting the DVD's when they came out. Judging by some of the stuff on the TV this Christmas i think i'll give it a binge through again.

Agree about Studio 60 as well - another decent series but sadly cancelled after just the first season run frown

Superb cast, acting, dialogue.
I have all of it on DVD in case of some odd reason it's not safe to leave the house 😳

That was 'Sports Night'. I have it on DVD. Lots of familiar West Wing (and other shows) faces in it.

Not as worthy as TWW and all the better for it.

I never really watched The West Wing much when it was on, but I did buy the DVD box set for my parents, so perhaps I should borrow it sometime.

A Few Good Men was one of his earliest pieces of work, if not his first.
