The Christmas Misadventures of Dinesh Ranganathan

Off topic but just caught up with the Rob and Romesh vs Cricket episode.
Doesn't appear to be a thread for that so here goes.
Barmy Army "You full kit w
kers"
And I thought the Spitting Impala Poo was a windup by the safari guide and tracker, but no it's an actual Afrikaaner sport. Are we allowed to say Afrikaaner these days.
Plus in the Test match commentary box. "So which of us two is the provide the colour?" Looks at Romesh.
Rob Beckett's somewhat annoying, to say the least.

I loved the show. My summary is basically what was said at the end. That it was strange to see how different a place could be when it was still in the UK. I also liked that the guide admitted that what he really wanted was an impossible compromise between showing how great things were where he lived without then spoiling it.
I think Romesh is superb, I have seen quite a lot of his stuff and this was an interesting show. I couldn't help noticing how similar people from Anglesey and the North West of Scotland are, even the accent is similar. Both areas of the UK do come across as foreign to British people from elsewhere.
I love the show Romesh did about Albania in the same series several years ago. He was paired with a slightly giddy Albanian women as a guide and interpreter. At one point she was laughing hysterically at how funny he looked in the snow, he is very darked skinned and quite grumpy in demeanour. He makes the point that Albania has little or no black population and accepted that there was no racial malice in what she was laughing about.
