Suddenly when I got to the last sentence my interest tripled laugh She is the sole reason I tolerated my partner watching the Big Bang Theory...

No idea,I watched it on an android box

Edit looks like it isn't available in the UK yet but in all likelihood it should come to Sky Atlantic as they show other stuff from HBO Max

It's good.

Kaley Cuoco is good in it. Really very good, actually.

Vaguely Hitchcockian feel to it. Relatively predictable, occasional surprises, but no less entertaining / well done for all that.

Violent / bloody in places. Occasionally disturbing, psychologically.

My OH enjoyed it, I enjoyed it.

She's a superb actress isn't she.I only know her from TBBT.Seems she has had lots of film and tv work but this is the 1st proper lead role.
This should be the springboard to international stardom

I read the book many months ago and a couple of friends have also read my copy and found it very entertaining, particularly the twist in the last 50 pages. From the sound of it they have expanded the original story to create a series, I'm looking forward to seeing it at some point.

Kaley Cuoco bought the rights to make it for TV after reading the book and was heavily involved in the production as well as being the lead role (she was locked down in NY with her sister for several weeks as they were filming there when the pandemic kicked off...)

Given the international success of The Big Bang Theory, and her pay checks in the last few seasons (including IIRC a profit share), I think she’s done OK enough already

Season 2 been commissioned, new storyline, not Alex-related.

She wasn't the star though. Most people wouldn't know her real name, she needs a big film role for that

If you don't know her from 8 Simple Rules (for Dating My Teenage Daughter) then do you even have a TV? biggrin

I only heard about this show the other week.Watched a couple of episodes, it's not great.
Was it even broadcast in the UK ? Certainly not on terrestrial tv to my knowledge.
I've watched TBBT for years on and off and never knew the names of the cast.....only know Penny's because I googled it when The Flight Attendant came to my attention
She certainly isn't a household name in the UK

I watched the trailer for this and it reminded me of a very low budget film I watched.

Wiki states its based on a recent book, but from the trailer its near identical to the film I've previously watched.

The film admitidley centred on a flight attendent getting p&ssed and waking up next to a dead body. Then set purely in the room she trys to get rid of the evidence.
So bad it was good.

I might watch this series to see if it is in fact as similar as I assume

Who do you think were the stars then? She was one of three cast members who were given a $72millon dollars (each) deal for three series.

When did you see the movie?

Wikipedia also says that Cuoco's production company had optioned the rights to the book before it's publication date, so this book not been turned into a movie.

Another similar book might have though....

They all had equal air time to my eyes.
It's not a show like two and a half men that was built around Charlie Sheen.
I couldn't name any of the actors in Big Bang, maybe they are all household names in America, I've no idea
