Sci-Fi / alien comedy drama, staring Alan Tudyk.

Very good, not super-funny, but amusing & a good premise, well-executed.

Difficult to label, but enjoying it after first episode.

Enjoyed it - will be interesting to see how it develops beyond the pilot.

Having completely lost the will to live during only the first 5 mins of the last US "space" import from Sky a few weeks ago (Moonbase), my finger was hovering over this last night. The memory of 5 mins of Moonbase proved too much in the end.

So is this actually worth trying?

well if it helps I thought that Moonbase was a turdfest and turned off about about 10 minutes

Yes, worth a try. Not really sci-fi / space at all, other than involving an alien. Not going to spoiler it, but I would suggest if you like US series that put a different tilt on things, it’s definitely worth a view. I don’t think there’s many comparisons I can give to similar stuff, and it is only the pilot so far.

Watched to the point where he walked out after looking at the body of the doctor.
Not my cup of tea, not my sense of humour, didn't find it funny at all. (Am I the only one laughing at Finding Alice).
I'm more a third rock from the sun bloke if it has to be aliens.

Given it a go.

Quite a promising idea; reasonably well done.

Didn't find it as stunningly funny as I had hoped, and there is always the possibility that a few of the gags are going to be milked to death and it generally won't be good. But will be watching.

If you liked that, and haven't yet seen it, I'd recommend revisiting "People of Earth" which (IMHO) did the theme and genre so much more good....

Will be sticking around, goofy and enjoyable but let’s see how it pans out. Not sure that there might be too many sub plots.
