Netflix. Prime. Apple TV+. What else?
Discussion
Netflix is our main choice of tv content. Prime is good but IMO not a patch on Netflix but will keep it. Recently got AppleTV+ (Free with new device) but highly doubt I’ll be renewing after free period. Used to have Now but got bored of it quickly. Anything else worth considering? Disney? Not interested in Sports or documentaries. 3 adults and a 12yr old. Cheers

Dear Sir,I read in the Guardian once, that as not everything is available in the UK, some nefarious characters use various streaming sites and download sites for content they are not allowed to pay for.
Shocking.
Down with this sort of thing.

We have Prime (£6.58pm*), Netflix (£5.99pm) and a sky box (£27pm) totalling (£39.57pm).
I've been considering binning the sky, using a Freesat box and Chromecast that we already own and adding a Disney+ (£4.99pm*) and Discovery+ (£4.17pm*) subscriptions. This which would nearly halve our monthly outgoings to £21.66 and still keep all the main things we watch.
(* cheaper yearly cost /12)

Call Sky Retentions and tell them that I've been considering binning the sky, using a Freesat box and Chromecast that we already own and adding a Disney+ (£4.99pm*) and Discovery+ (£4.17pm*) subscriptions. If you go for Disney, get it before Star starts on Feb 23rd, before then the annual price is £59.99, after it starts the price is £79.99. If you pay £59.99 before 23rd Feb you won't pay the higher price until 2022.
Cool, thanks for the heads up!Gassing Station | TV, Film, Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
