Three-parter on iPlayer.

First one well worth a watch. Quite remarkable insights.

Him not knowing that the UK was a nuclear power was somewhat startling!

Him not knowing stuff was the least surprising part about it. biggrin

It was a good documentary and not just the lazy hit job you might expect. There was some attempt to explain his rationale via the interviews with some pretty major people which I thought was interesting.

I am a little embarrassed to admit that I am a bit obsessed with Trump and his antics. We caught this and found it quite watchable. As above, the insights from some pretty heavy weight people really give an insider's view also and useful background.

The bit that stood out to me was at the G7 when all his aides said that they had no idea what he was going to do - withdraw? Poke his toe over the line and come back or what??

The utter despair in some of his aids or as the programme stated 'the adults in the room' was as clear as day.

I'm sure it's just a scheduling coincidence the Obama Years was repeated on BBC Four a couple of weeks ago to remind us how Obama and Trump approached the presidency in different ways. One was an articulate, deep thinking and caring president for the people, and one wasn't.

And half the American electorate think the opposite... Startling!
