Rewatching this. I found it ok it's first time round and since the Picard series which was ok and the Micheal Burn her series which imo IS NOT star trek these make Enterprise pretty good imo. What are others thoughts on this nowadays?

I thought it was ok. I think there was some poor writing at the start and end. Season 3 I enjoyed, a season long arc is rare in something like this.

Picard is still, for me, the best Captain.

The dross that is Discovery makes you appreciate it more. However I quite enjoyed Enterprise the first time smile a shame it ended so badly

I haven't bothered with Discovery, every thing I see about it doesn't say Star Trek to me.

I didn't want to watch Enterprise at first, I don't generally like prequels, but gave it a shot while I was recovering from an op in 2015. Same with Voyager and DS9, never was interested in those, but gave them a chance over the last 2 years and enjoyed them.

Archer has grown on me since I watched Quantum Leap from start to finish during the first lockdown. I never disliked him, but found him a bit bland when I originally watched Enterprise.

I like the first series too. Nice simple feel good stories that cover the wonder of heading out into the unknown.

Watching Enterprise again right now.
Love it!
Can't believe its 20 years old. Still feels fresh enough to me.

I know a lot don't like the theme tune/song, but I really rate it actually.

Was after 9/11 so they all behaved like military grunts. And there was an idiot impersonating george bush jr plus a shoulder to shoulder englishman with the british pained hemorrhiod sufferer persona americans love.
I bet they are embarrased they made it. What a load of ste.

I liked many individual episodes but didn't like the time travel element so stopped watching when that became dominant.

Probably the last "proper" Trek though.

Personally I thought it was brilliant. Such a shame it got canned early. Easily as good as TNG/VOY/DS9. It would have been great to let it run its course and potentially show the war with the Romulans.

Have re-watched the entire Series several times and will do so again.

EDIT: Also think it tied in the with the Trek canon brilliantly and helped answer and solve many questions that had arisen over the years. Also liked the intro music, I know it was a step change from other Treks, but IMO it was still a good into.

I do find it strange that DS9 on Pick is frequently introduced as "Uncannily Prophetic" by the programme announcer.

Beats me confused

I really enjoyed this, although I wasn't a fan of the Xindi season long story arc.
I really liked the Chief Engineer character Trip Tucker, played by Connor Trinneer.

All episodes currently on Netflix if anyone is interested.
