He did this out of choice! People who talk about hero’s need to watch this

I'm watching this. He is so much like Alex Zanardi in ways other than the obvious. Both are some of the most positive-attitude people I've ever seen. Truly inspirational.

Excellent - he could make a living demonstrating how positivity can overcome adversity.

There could be a side-documentary on how his prosthetics work. Transferring the horizontal power in his thighbones into a cycling motion seems to defy physics.

It lacked some input from the F1 World Champion, who has previously been a big supporter of Billy.

Utmost respect.

I know that on that cycle climb up to Druids I would have to do my usual trick - jump off and push the bike whilst telling everyone that I’ve got a punctured tyre....

Agree, little involvement from the motor sport community.

Also I thought mention of his return to racing would have been covered. OK tyre choice played a part but Billy’s victory in the Pau F3 race in 2019 never really got the plaudits it deserved. Billy was followed home by Yuki Tsunoda that day - and Yuki now looks set to make a big impact in F1....

Amazing programme and an amazing young man. I did say to SWMBO though that they couldn't find a more hilly route for him to both walk and cycle could they? I mean, he even walked around Brands Hatch - that hill's bad enough in a car let alone on a pushbike or on (prosthetic) foot.

Can't have enough admiration for what he did though.

I followed his progress on his social media. He was properly hurting towards the end but still pushed on. Top bloke.

He is certainly one of lifes extremely inspirational people.

Admire him immensely, and wish more could be like him.
