Good opening programme, the Paris chap seems like a nasty piece of work. His solicitor seemed to be laughing with him at one point?

Yes the solicitor was acting a little over familiar with him, body language etc.
I'm not sure kidnapping and beating drug dealers (although I didn't have much sympathy for them) is the best way of making money. The victims of these kidnappings now know the guys names and have the contacts (possibly) and finance to meet out their own retribution.
I did think that the Paris chap is he had some moral guidance and mentoring at a much earlier age he could have been another Anthony Joshua or Courtney Lawes, just a thought.

Yes agree, he seemed to have been a wrong un from an early age not helped by his step father. I would not want to meet him down a dark alley. He looked like he could take on the entire police station!

I sat through this, it must be extremely frustrating being a police officer trying to deal with people like that. "No comment" the whole way through. I'm just a little bit depressed that this kind of stuff goes on, especially as I'm not that far from Manchester.

You're assuming a degree of forward planning that probably didn't exist.

True, not the smartest.

I almost puked when he picked that humongous spot on his thick as mince face, and then stuck it in his mouth....
Good programme though, I hope the rest are as interesting.
