What an excellent if disturbing movie this turned out to be.

I had a vague idea of the concept but nothing prepared me for the reality of his dementia and how it was portrayed.

One of the best films I've watched in years.

Totally agree. At first I was getting a bit confused, but then realised that’s exactly what the main character was feeling. Anthony Hopkins deserved the Oscar for this.

Yes just watched this and Hopkins and Coleman both excellent

I was a little confused by it and read an explanation online

Basically the events happened over a considerable period of time and he is remembering them, or misremembering them, while being in the nursing home. Hence the changes of faces and the way certain events loop
