Watched it and thought the acted scenes were irritating but interesting none the less. I grew up in that era and it’s definitely accurate.
It never ends well.
Which era? I was born 1980 so remember the rave era as a youngster, tapes instead of clubs. But I do remember ecstacy being "the big thing", even when I was clubbing late 90's.It never ends well.
I was born in 1974 and was on the periphery but a lot of my school friends ended up going in knee deep and it hasn’t worked out well for any of them.
Some were dealers and it was good for a short period but the inevitable happened, I can remember the atmosphere changing in the clubs as mentioned in the ecstasy episode too.
A lot of them are either dead, drug addicts, alcoholics, in prison or heads completely melted!
Crazy times but I’m sure it still goes on now I just don’t see it.

I started watching it today. Interesting.
Reminds me of a site I worked on about 15 years ago, I used to take the piss out of our fork lift truck driver who was on day release from Kirkham prison, stuff about getting bummed in the shower, etc. One day the foreman took me to one side and told me why he’d been sent to prison, turns out he was one of the drug kingpins in Liverpool. After that I’d ask him about it, he’d tell me stories about about how footballers who he knew tried to buy his AC Schnitzer BMW off him, etc. He was a nice enough fella.
