Is no longer available on Sky or Virgin!
Fox UK will close as a TV channel on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 after its owners, Disney, decided to shift operations towards its streaming service.
Most of the TV series and shows will still be available to watch, but only if you subscribe to the premium Disney Plus content.

How long before more and more channels dissapear and will be stream only?!

I think it (streaming) is the way things are going. But as Netflix is finding out it does reach a certain point (sales) and then you have to start working for it.

It's inevitable really. Streaming is so much cheaper than satellite broadcasting.

Even Sky have been making a lot of hints for the last couple of years about merging their streaming service NowTV and their broadcast service into a single entity. I believe they've been using 'dishless' installations recently, effectively Sky Q via Internet.

Personally I hardly ever watch 'live' TV, the Mrs loves her Love Island and crap like that live so she can text along with her friends, but I don't even watch Sport live these days.

BBC have got their online service well sorted with iPlayer, Channel 4 are almost as good, and it makes sense for them, you can't fastforward the ads on 4OD. ITV and Channel 5 have got a lot of work to do with their online offerings, I think they're hoping to keep their audience by only offering a very limited streaming option, but they're fighting the tide really.
