Read an article in the Guardian this morning trying to convince readers that Batman and Robin was unfairly judged as the worst Batman adaptation (if not one of the worst films of the decade).

Is it just me or are they smoking something at the Guardian? My memory of the film is that about 20 minutes in I was just stunned by how bad is was. Then someone a couple of rows behind us had an epileptic fit (hopefully not induced by the film!). I went to help and carried the guy into the foyer. After ensuring he was being looked after by the cinema staff my wife and I couldn’t face going back into the cinema. Remains the only time I’ve walked out of a cinema before a film has ended.

"The right nipple was used to regulate body temperature, while the left nipple was used mainly to pick up shortwave radio transmissions"

Not very good . Trying to be a bit like the TV show. The only good ones were the first 2 burton ones. All the serious nolan ones are garbage in another way.

Yeah i think it was supposed to be a campy jokey nod to the original 60s show but didn’t really work.

It totally stymied Chris O'Donnell's film career. He scarcely worked for twelve years before getting the NCIS LA gig.

Dunno who thought it was a good career move, and I bet anyone working with him gets warned "don't call him Robin".
