REELSTREETS: THEN & NOW;
I like going to this site, so if you are out & about or on your holidays... you might want to check them out.
Or... you might even live there or nearby.
I’ve been to the ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ castle...beautiful.
My town is on here too... from 1946 ( way before my time)

An outstanding website. Thanks OP.
Not only movie memorabilia but a record of old urban locations.
I've just indulged in some of the 60s Nottinghamshire locations and many sites have not only gone for good, but so have their replacements !
Back to those dreams of my youth.
- Saturday Night and Sunday Morning
- The Ragmans Daughter
- Sons and Lovers
- The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner.

WARNING: IT MAY CAUSE ADDICTION.
( No cure... at moment)
Enjoy.
NB: The one where parts of it were filmed in my town ( 1946), in he actual film the scenes are so out of sequence, that it would be impossible to drive it.
Unfortunately... most of it has been demolished / rebuilt since the
late 60’s. I was a mere pup then.
Some of it remains... I often drink in the pub that’s still there & my secondary school was nearby as well.
Spooky.
