Ah found the new thread...
Actually looks more promising this year, think last year was very rushed.
Decent first episode although no surprise that Emmerdale bloke was picked for the challenge, why would you say you hate this or hate that knowing you'll get picked on right from the off ?
Oh and any celeb saying 'they have no idea what they're letting themselves in for', seriously ? its been on for 10+ years ffs.

I thought it was one of the best episodes since Australia last night, the challenge was good fun. I just think the 'celebs' are instructed by their advisors of what gets airtime and just like Jordan North last year the lad from Emmerdale Farm knows exactly how to play it so he gets all the early challenges. He just seems a bit fake to me, Ginola and Naughty Boy seem the most genuine/likeable at this early stage but it's too early for any cracks to appear.
Yup definitely, Snoochie was quick to volunteer for the eating challenge knowing that's a popular one, she wasn't phased by it but went into delayed drama queen mode a few times to get a bit of airtime(over a bit of nose and a a piece of fruit, managed an arse hole without missing a beat) then the poor me i let everyone down nonsense later.

maybe it's the editing but Naughty boy comes across as a bit simple.
He's a strange one, considering he's worked with some of the worlds biggest stars his persona isn't at all what you'd expect. Assuming it's genuine, and it does appear to be at this stage.
I'm guessing it'll end with lots of hugs and 'luv yas'.
I wonder if the producers thought they'd pushed it a bit far in trying to mix things up this year by getting the other team to pick people but the celebs going in there these days do seem a bit more precious, which does make you wonder why the f
k they go in there in the first place.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
