National outage for Virgin

All TV down nationwide, Customer services can't cope with the calls and have just turned off and they are in the middle of updating their website so you can't get details that way.
Broadband is still up, moderators on the community forum are trying to get the message out.

Pretty poor by VM. Wonder what caused that...

Someone pushed out a poorly/un-tested configuration change. I'd put money on it.

It was an issue at the super headend at Langley

Yeap outage in Dartford area.
Found out it was down after 2 wasted attempts at reboots

For now, ours have disappeared again as they attempt to resolve the issue and bring channels back.

Oh well at least Spurs game is on Amazon Prime tonight

Any planned recordings won't work unless the channel is working so that's something to bear in mind

I've been with VM for the last 14 years and this is the first time I've ever had any TV issues, broadband in the past yes, TV no, so it's pretty unusual.

Nope, not yet

Recently (last week) upgraded my package and was looking forward to some live F1. Been down since 11am and I can’t see it being sorted tonight

I'm in the midlands (near Coventry) and yes down for me too. They are updating on the Virgin twitter page with a link to the outage but must admit I've never known a UK wide issue like this before. Have a few programmes planned to record tonight so doubt it will be back up and running in time :-(

It's back for me,all channels seem to be working.
Edit no network connection though so no streaming services.

Broadband went down yesterday. They decided that they wanted to go the whole hog it seems.
