Anyone else watching?

There are few youtube car channels I watch. I’m a subscriber and big fan of Harry’s Garage and love the technical, financial, restorations and road trips, along with his diverse garage. Keep up the good work Harry smile.

What randomly cropped up in my YT feed was ‘Kidd in a Sweet Shop’ and it was Jodie Kidd, well known petrol head. Not many vids on her channel and only watched two so far.

The first one was with James Martin and his eclectic collection…

Just watched another with Nick Mason’s wife Annette, bar maid to helicopter pilot and lovely cars…

Really liked the enthusiasm and passion for classic, fossil fuelled cars, which is also my passion. I can’t imagine people in the future waxing lyrical about how exciting current modern milk floats are, despite their amazing performance… unless they are soulless and brain dead.

She has also invested in some above some higher quality production values which I also appreciate…

Anyway, surprised there wasn’t a thread on here…

I caught the James Martin episode this evening, purely by chance when YouTube decided to play it after the subscribed content I was watching finished. I have to agree it was pretty good (although sound level is a bit up and down) so have subscribed and will catchup on some of the other episodes over the coming days.

Yes, I also subscribe to the channel.

I’d also recommend the episode with George Bamford and his 275GTB.

Oh, and there is a good one with Derek Bell.

Think Kidd gets mentioned somewhere in https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
Not a fan, but will maybe watch at some point.

I watched the James Martin episode first and skipped a lot of it as he didn’t come across well to me, but I really enjoyed the one with Annette Mason as she was fun and the cars were fabulous. Jodie is a pretty good host and has great connections and the production values are high, so it’s a channel I’ll be watching a lot of.

The James Martin one cropped up on my YouTube the other day so I gave it a watch and thought it was pretty good. I haven't really heard him talking about his career and "car life" before and it was interesting hearing how and when things evolved from him having no money to quite a bit of money and how his car choices evolved along with that. Nice to hear that every car in his collection has a significance and has a story to tell, and that his taste is more "car of the people" type cars than acquiring exotica just because he can.

I’ve just watched all three with Zak Brown - his private collection, McLaren’s public display and their “back room” stock. Interesting stuff, but she’s a bit “gush-y”, with a lot of “oh wow”s, “amazing”s etc. At least she appears to know her stuff and Brown is a proper enthusiast.
The James Martin one was ok too, I was more interested in his thoughts than hers to be honest.
Has anyone watched the Grosjean interview? I think I’ll give it a crack.
Despite my misgivings I have a lot of respect for her, she does love her cars and has lots of 4-wheel experience.

I found it boring and I don't like her as a presenter.
Switched off half way through.
He has some interesting vehicles mind, might have been better with another presenter
