Sort of connected, I remember I attempted watching one of those, 'I remember 1982' programmes a while back, it had been edited down to 30 mins, from (I think) an hour. A shame, I recall really enjoying the first run of the 70/80/90's programmes.

That article is misleading. It shouts archive from the title, as if the BBC are permanently destroying content, but then goes on to say it's edits to recent broadcasts to make them acceptable to modern audiences.

An episode of Poridge came on a couple of days ago, what I assume we're Sun page 3 type pictures of topless girls on the cell wall behind Fletcher had all been blurred out.
