Just watched the first 3 episodes of this on Disney+, not normally my sort of thing really, but it is bloody funny in a black comedy way. Lily James is just unbelievable as Pamela Anderson (including an incredibly realistic set of fake fake boobs) and Sebastion Stan who plays Tommy is hilariously awful too. In the second episode his notoriously big (fake again I assume!) appendage plays a starring role and their lives are every bit as utterly insane as you expect them to be. Seth Rogen plays a contractor working on Tommy's house who gets fired and exacts his revenge by stealing the tape to sell it on. It's crazy and awful and I love it smile

Yep, The House of Mouse (although it's on their Star channel).

Surprisingly the usual "viewers be advised..." warning has so far ticked all it's boxes biggrin

Half way through ep 3 and getting bored, it's a bit too stupid/weird for me. And feels like it's taking ages for anything to happen.

I'm enjoying it so far too.

They have done some great work with Lily James, almost unrecognisable.

Seems weird it being on Disney, purveyors of children's animated fairy tale stuff.

Seriously?

Managed 30mins of Ep1 and we turned it off. What utterly lousy crap.

Enjoying this more than I thought. Lily James is incredible. Producers done a great job with her fake fake jiggly bits.

Watch "The Dirt" if you are not convinced that Tommy used to be bat st crazy

In fact the whole of the band were !

(and more brilliant for it - Crue live is a must see as they are coming back out of retirement)

What are you all expecting? A modern version of Romeo & Juliet told in ye olde English. It’s a Playboy model and a hedonistic rock star who made a sex tape and it got leaked and was probably one of the first times a A-list couple (at the time) suffered for it. It’s long before others c-listers did it to boost their flagging careers. They probably share a couple of brain cells in real life and this is no doubt a vamped up version of their insane lifestyle at the time.

Just sit back and enjoy it. People out there have lives and they may differ from your intellectual 2.4 children leafy suburb accountancy based version.

+1

4 episodes in I'm enjoying it as much as ever, great fun and incredibly well done too. Obviously the subject matter isn't to everyone's tastes, this is the last sort of thing I'd normally view tbh, but it is just bloody entertaining mindless fun to watch.

I had no idea Pammy was played by Lily James. I have watched the trailer and would have never guessed.
