Not as good as The Teacher which itself was only “ok”.

I’ll admit I watched 1 and 4 skipping 2/3 - I still think I didn’t miss much.

Weird acting son does or doesn’t do something which shocks everyone whilst generic family crap goes on in the background.

Looks like Danny Brok is churning stuff out these days as he used to be very original and witty.

Watched episode 1, was going to watch part 2 tonight, wonder if I should skip a few episodes now.

The Teacher was great until the woeful final episode.

Anyway, we watched episode 1 last night, not particularly original but watchable.

Due to having a tv license I make the effort to watch some of the shows on the tv now and again.
Wont watch anymore of this one. A sort of midnight express for the 2020s.
Wonder who backed this production? My guess is some sort of saudi money somewhere.
What with this and the BBC's enthusiastic winter olympics coverage (I mean who cares about some tt on a snowboard?)
maybe the TVL will be getting reviewed next time.

I see the main complaint is that it is supposed to be in Turkey but was actually filmed in Spain.

I thought it was OK but glad to see there are only 4 episodes. One thing thing though is that as much as I like Sheridan Smith there are too many dramas being aired around the same time with her in it.

Edit: didn't realise the boy in this is Andy Serkis' son.

Some of this was filmed in my village. The school (in EP3 I believe) is my son’s school.

Not watched it yet.

Hmmm, you could see it was going to be horsest mid way through Ep3.

Very poorly produced. Even daft things like clearly foreign cars in the background! Looked nothing like the UK.

The teacher was mostly filmed in Budapest, Hungary, due to financial reasons from what I understand

I have to caveat this with i really really don't like Sheridan Smith.

Both this and the teacher kept our attention enough to watch all the episodes of both but neither set the world on fire.

I think that's about all we have to say about both of them!

Nowt special but will keep you entertained for a few hours.
