Starts 22 / 03 ( 21:15 - 22-15)
Second Episode: 23 / 03 (21:00).

A ‘Social experiment’ type of programme... but it moght be worth a watch. scratchchin
It could be quite enlightening... mixed ages, backgrounds etc.
24 people have to run a farm in Devon... Amish style.
What could go wrong?

After watching the former footballer PA whining constantly it put me completely off and I turned over.

Has she left yet?

Either that or she will have an epiphany and her and her children may actually become worthwhile members of that/the community.

Milky Way Sr (93) is a tough cookie to please:
He was confused, as he thought that they were just living in the past... he struggled & gave up after half an hour... a bit too much talking for him, he wanted more action. scratchchin

Personally, I think that it was OK.
Penny, or ‘GC ll’ as I’ve named her began to grate on me & too much was focused on her whinging.
The others, including her daughters seem to be getting into the spirit of things.
Second episode is tonight... so will definitely give it a chance,

Penny / GC ll’s comment on the Edna’s apple pie...
“ This is lovely... it tastes bettter than it looks.”
( I think that was a compliment... they all laughed anyway).

TBH... I think that the girl who is doing a lot of the cooking & washing up should have gone to the shops. It would also given her a nice bit of fresh air too.

NB: There is bound to be conflict, but MOST of them seem to be a pretty levelled headed bunch.
Maybe the Women just doing the menial chores... might revolt. rolleyes

Rarely have I felt like tw@ting someone in the face with a spade as much as I do with Penny.

biglaugh Behaves like a spoilt & sulky brat, but her daughters seem to be enjoying themselves though.
It always seems somebody else’s fault though.

Kevin is having a wale of a time... muscling up.
Amish is a ‘Dry culture’...so make some moonshine. rolleyes
They will want a car next.
Money still proving to be the source of all evil though.

NB: I think that Penny would be good on the jungle... prime Candidate. rolleyes

Episode 3: A bit dull to be honest... too much talking & a few of them forgetting what the point of the experience / experiment is all about. scratchchin

I’m not the biggest football fan in the world... but it would have been strange wondering what was going on in BTCC & F1 etc.
( England in the Euros... to a certain extent)

Plus, they don’t have any electricity,.. so what did the radio & fridge run on, I was waiting for Lloyd & Edna to step in.
Hopefully the flotsam has left... so that the ‘remainers’ will adhere to the rules for the remaining months.

I can see this as yet another series going down the pan.

Episode 4: The typical sad life & ‘finding me’ section. rolleyes
