American Gods - huh?
Discussion
Got through the 1 st episode, well produced and acted give it that.
2nd episode and Ive realised Ive no idea wtf is going on and dropping off halfway through it etc.
Is it just me being dense (probably) or is it just that there's no story?
2nd episode for instance, starts off on a slave ship with a colourful character shouting away and the slaves burn the ship down and then a spider comes ashore on some driftwood. Huh?
Ahm oot.

I’ve watched all of it, god help me.
If they’d done the same plot in half the number of episodes, they’d probably have ended up with quite a nicely told story.
A common issue with Amazon in particular I find. They do love to drag a story out, any number of series that I've gotten into and then eventually tired of.
