Ideal Top Gear presenter line-up
Discussion
I stumbled across Jason Cammisa's videos on Youtube recently, and instantly thought to myself "He should be presenting Top Gear."
After a few days of thinking...

..I reached the conclusion that I'd like to see Chris Harris, Jason Cammisa, and Henry Catchpole present the next series of Top Gear.
What's your ideal line-up?

Just wondering when its days will be numbered.
We now have everyday electric cars that can humiliate hypercars in 1/4 mile.
Over time the tech will trickle down to be affordable to everyone.
Can you imagine a never ending parade of 17 year old kids ready for the traffic light Grand Prix?
The presenters will end up saying "And ina drag race it crossed the finish line.... exactly the same as every other electric car"
Legislation will kick in....
Anyway - Clarkson, May, Hammond.
As I kid I grew up with Woodard, Young Clarkson etc.
"The boot space of this car is 0.15 cubic meters bigger than that car".. No thanks. I only had 3 channels.

The old original Top Gears were perfect, informative simple and to the point. Cars then did develop on the same plane for the latter part of the 90s and into the 2000s and Clarkson and Co recognised this and invented New Too Gear. Nothing has really changed since 2005 in car tech apart from marketing. As you can see from the current Top Gear episodes. I’d rather watch the Polar special than anything from TG in the last 10 years, and add to that the Grand Tour. They are all flogging a dead horse
If it’s entertaining though, does it really matter?

Waits for first vote of Clarkson, Hammond and May…..
Has-beens.
I spent a long, long time trying to decide between Harry Metcalfe and Catchpole before concluding that Harry probably wouldn't want the full presenting gig anyway, and would be better suited to a regular in-studio spot giving an update on the latest developments in e-fuel/hydrogen/ammonia, plus a more in-depth segment every second or third episode.

The last person I would want to see, with the exception of that Schmeeer guy. God it would be bloody awful.
I'd go with Henry Catchpole, Matt Farah and Harry Metcalfe.
Schmee is a bit too cheesy for my tastes but I'd still take him, JWW, TGE and STG over the likes of Paddy McGuiness and Matt LeBlanc. The YouTube guys are actually passionate about cars, for the other guys it's just work. I'd go with Henry Catchpole, Matt Farah and Harry Metcalfe.
STG was my pick of the bunch as he seems the most genuine and down to earth of them all.
