New 3 part series on the Royal Marines.
Episode 1 follows young recruits as they complete by their training and assessment.
Impressive stuff - refreshingly free of hyperbole and BS that permeates the various Celebrity XYZ Are You Tough/Cold Enough programmes.
Watch to the end. It's moving.
Edited to add: watch right to the end of the credits.

There were some great lines in that series.

Kitchen, toilet, brew, and splendiferous you bleedin' cabbage 'eads!

Watched the first episode with my daughter. She'd just finished the Ten Tors, which is basically the Marines' 30 miler but carrying a tent. Hers was 35 miles and much slower. She was amazed that they could cover 30 miles in just eight hours. I was amazed that a 50kg 15 year old managed 35 miles carrying a 25kg backpack.
The Marines' course looks proper hardcore. It's the relentless nature of it - every day is hard and is followed by another hard day. Their feet must be mush by the end of it

There was a similar series about the Parachute Regiment a few years ago - not the 1980s one referred to in this thread.
They came across as proper hard b
ds. I remember the milling, their chant: What makes the grass grow? blood! blood! and one of them reflecting that it was a good thing that there was still a legitimate role in modern life for men of violence.
I had an ex-para do some work in my house. His back and knees were wrecked. He still turned out for charity boxing bouts to raise money for disabled veterans. Very decent bloke but you really wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of him.
