I watched it and - well, let's say it wasn't my cup of tea.
The Telegraph reviewer however, gave it 4 stars and 'blubbed like a baby'.

I thought it was OK, quite amazing the work they put in and the success they have
You might be surprised at how these things can happen with the internet's help, here's an exampleI was adopted soon after birth. My birth mother's name is shown on my birth certificate but my birth father's name is blank. I never met my birth mother, neither did I have any contact (she was born in 1925 so has most likely died by now) but I do know I have a younger half brother.
A couple of years ago, out of idle curiosity, I did a DNA test and uploaded the result. Nothing much happened at first, just some vague links to 4th and 6th cousins that I had no interest in following up. Then, at the end of last year, a message from someone claiming to be a first cousin and including a photograph - we could be brothers, the likeness is so strong.
From the part of the country he is from, he could only be on my unknown father's side and, since he has published his family tree on-line, I could fairly accurately determine who my birth father is.
And that is where I'll be leaving it.

Really?I don't have your life experience, so can't really comment other than thinking I'd be very curious and perhaps even find that the half brother was a lovely fellow.
I'm smiling as I type as I have a twin I haven't seen in years. He's a knob.

(My adoptive Dad was a twin and I have twin sisters. He's no longer with us but my my sisters and I have held weekly Zoom meetings since the start of Covid - for girls they're not too bad...)
