The new Rowan Atkinson series is on par if not better than Mr Bean. Well worth watching on Netflix.

Ha, yes it was very good. I didn't understand why they were 10 minute episodes instead of a film but the family enjoyed it.

Thank you for that - I will persevere as I started to get frustrated with the 10 minute episodes. I hope it isn't a typical rom-com sentimental everyone lives happy ever after ending but I will find out now.

Does anyone know if that house is real and in the UK?

Were any bees injured in the filming?

Binged it the other night, loved it. Some real LOL moments and way more enjoyable than I thought it would be.

Green screen and studios apparently.

Watched all of it now.

I felt it was OK but not his best.

More aimed at kids than adults.

I thought it was ok until the Jag scenes with the exhaust and then ripping it apart with a crow bar and angle grinder. It was just too moronic for me from there.

Agreed but the exhaust scene really did happen to my wife many years ago when the exhaust got ripped off due to ramps on some roadworks together with very very old rusted tubular manifolds. It looked very much like that however with Trevor, the straight 6 looked like it had V8 exhaust manifolds to my eyes.

Watched 2 or 3 episodes. Couldn't deal with anymore due to the childishness.

Unwatchable. You just know he's going to F*** everything up.

Isn't that literally the whole premise.

I really don't get why he does these sorts of films (money aside).

I think Rowan is a superb actor - his black adder role was superb - yet he persists with the bean-esque stuff. I don't know anyone who doesn't love black adder... Yet I know very few folks who don't think Mr bean is just daft.

I was only half watching; what was the Ford camper thing they were in right at the end? Looked like forward controls?

Reminds me of Home Alone but with Rowan Atkinson playing the role of Paddington.

There are more than 4 times as many road going McLaren F1's than there are episodes of Mr Bean yet Mr Bean has earnt RW enough to buy 4 McLaren F1's.

Not bad going for 7 hours of TV.

Not a big fan of this. When he started attacking the E Type I had to leave the room, even though I'm sure it wasn't real
