It's that time of year again when they start releasing details of the contestants for the show, so might as well get the thread started.

So far the first two have been confirmed as Will Mellor & Kym Marsh.

At least I have heard of both Mellor and Marsh (but both are a similar age to me).

Any news on long term pros/judges being given the boot?

I assume we will never be seeing Bruno again now Tony Beak has settled nicely into his chair?

a bloke who reads the traffic on Radio 2 is supposed to hold the Nations interest on a Saturday night, really?

when Nations from outside of our Universe arrive and discovery this TV show and Tipping Point, they'll flee in horror, as I will when Strictly rears it's ugly head....

Pretty sure I've said it in the past. I feel like I'm fairly well connected to popular culture and not someone who revels in not knowing anyone popular. But I know 2 out of 5 so far and only really recognise the name of one of them, not sure what they actually do.

They seem to have a very odd selection criteria. I remember an interview with Becky Adlington who really wanted to do strictly and they didn't want her. This was not long after her retirement, don't want one of most successful British swimmers ever, but some random bloke off Radio 2 is golden.

Can the haters, with the greatest of respect, please just fk off? Whether you’ve heard of someone is irrelevant, you’ll get to know them well enough as the show progresses and it won’t affect what you think of their dancing.
